Sports Performance

Three key elements to optimal sports performance include nutrition, hydration and sleep. Not only do these three elements help you perform at your best, they are essential to recovery from high intensity training and most importantly injury. Athletes who have a solid foundation of these three core principles perform at high levels (both mental and physical) and recover faster. Take care of your body and your body will take care of you on the field! FINS UP!

Players:

Below is a handout for our practice and pre-game dynamic warm up. This will be performed before every practice and tournament game. Read it, study it and perform it with 110% effort each time! Warming up for practice or a game is not for socializing. Use this time to focus on the task at hand and mentally prepare yourself. Do not hesitate to warm up on your own, which may nclude band work, forearm stretching and lower extremity stretching. If you have any questions about how to properly warm up and/or different stretches, PLEASE ASK!
